Although the Spark model has John Shinton's name on the box and base he had nothing to do with this version of the model, it has a gloss finish instead of satin and the base is a plastic desert effect instead of polished wood.
This car was renamed Spirit of Rett and set a new record in 2010
When the car ran in 2000 there was a small black fin on the front to aid the timing apparatus

This one off model was made by Steve Garcia converting a scaleworks model to represent the car after modifications by Steve Fosset
